How to cast a YidFlicks video to your chromecast device
YidFlicks allows you to "cast" a video on to a larger screen. This can be useful both to view the video on a bigger screen, as well as to have children watch the video without having access to a device. You can control the videos via a phone or tablet without handing that device to your children.
To cast, click the small "cast" option at the bottom of any Yidflicks video player.
You'll then get offered to choose a chromecast device to cast to.
Simply click the device you'd like to cast to and the video should start playing there within a few seconds.
To stop casting, you can turn off the device you are casting to, or you can click the casting option on your source device again and choose to stop casting.
Troubleshooting:
The most common issue when trying to cast is your casting device not being able to find the device you want to cast to. The first thing to do is make sure both devices are on the same wifi network. This is key for casting to work properly.
